Email inboxes
Some stores email a code when a task signs in, such as Costco. Connect that inbox and the task reads the code and enters it for you.
Without an inbox, a window titled Enter the code pops up. Type the code from the email and click Submit.
Connect an inbox
Section titled “Connect an inbox”-
Go to Settings › Email and click New inbox.

Enter the Email address the store sends codes to.

Click Gmail, iCloud or Yahoo next to Fill in for to fill in the server and port. For other providers, enter the IMAP server and port yourself.

Enter the Username, usually the email address itself, and the Password.
A task uses the inbox whose address matches its profile’s email address.
App passwords
Section titled “App passwords”Gmail, iCloud and Yahoo only allow this kind of connection with an app password, not your normal password. Make one in your account’s security settings, then paste it into Password.
Turn on 2-Step Verification for the Google account, then create an app password under Security › App passwords. Server: imap.gmail.com, port 993.
Sign in at account.apple.com, open Sign-In and Security › App-Specific Passwords and generate one. Server: imap.mail.me.com, port 993.
Open Account security in your Yahoo account and choose Generate app password. Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com, port 993.
