Expressions

An expression is a token in curly brackets, such as {num:3}. The bot swaps it for a value each time a task starts. One profile can then check out with a different email address, or a slightly different address line, on every run.

Email address

{first}.{last}{num:3}@mydomain.com{ }

Resolves to

sam.carter482@mydomain.comsam.carter017@mydomain.comsam.carter935@mydomain.comsam.carter260@mydomain.com

This profile’s first name is Sam and last name is Carter. {first} and {last} read those fields, and {num:3} adds three random digits.

Expressions work in the profile name, email address, phone number, and every address field: first and last name, house number or name, both address lines, city and postcode.

Click Show expression palette next to a field to browse the tokens. Click one to insert it into the field you last typed in. Resolves to shows a sample result, and Roll again gives you another.

Token Gives you Example
{first} First name, lowercase, letters and digits only sam
{last} Last name, the same way obrien for O’Brien
{firstName} First name exactly as typed Sam
{lastName} Last name exactly as typed O'Brien
{initial} First letter of the first name s
{city} City, lowercase, letters and digits only leeds
{postcode} Postcode, the same way ls11ab
{profile} Profile name, the same way home
Token Gives you Example
{num:4} 4 random digits 4821
{rand:6} 6 random lowercase letters kqzmet
{RAND:6} 6 random capitals KQZMET
{Rand:6} 6 random letters, mixed case kQzMeT
{alnum:8} 8 random lowercase letters and digits k4q9zm2t

{range:1-99} A whole number from 1 to 99 42
{range:a-z} One letter from a to z m
{pick:Flat|Apt|Unit} One of the options Apt

Change the number after the colon to change the length. Leave it off and the token uses its default: 4 for {num}, 6 for {rand} and {hex}, 8 for {alnum}.

Token Gives you Example
{n} The copy number when you create several profiles 3
{n:3} The copy number padded to 3 digits 003
{date:ddMM} Today’s date in the format you give 0110

Write {{ or }} for a literal curly bracket.

An address line that varies slightly:

Address line 2

{pick:Flat|Apt|Unit} {range:1-9}{ }

Resolves to

Apt 4Flat 7Unit 2Flat 1

Numbered copies: create 10 copies of a profile named Drop {n:2} and you get Drop 01 to Drop 10.
