Transfers
You can transfer your licence to someone else. We hold the licence while the buyer pays you, so neither side can be left out of pocket. Transfers are free.
Before you can transfer
Section titled “Before you can transfer”| Rule | Why |
|---|---|
| You’ve owned the licence for 90 days without a break | The clock starts when you bought it, received it, or last renewed it after it expired. |
| Your subscription is set to cancel | A licence can’t move while it’s still renewing. Cancel in Manage billing first. |
| At least a day is left on it | Renew first if it’s about to run out. |
| The buyer has signed in to the dashboard once | We need their account to exist. |
| The buyer doesn’t already have a licence | Each person can hold one. |
How a transfer works
Section titled “How a transfer works”-
The seller starts it on the dashboard’s Transfers page. They pick the buyer’s Discord account and how long the buyer has to accept: 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days.
-
The licence goes into escrow. The seller loses access straight away, and any bot they have running stops. The seller can’t cancel at this point.
-
The buyer sees the transfer on their Transfers page. That’s the signal to pay. The licence is already locked to them, so the seller can’t take it back.
-
The buyer accepts. The licence moves over with all its remaining time and the same key. Its device binding is cleared, so the buyer can sign in on their own PC.
If the buyer declines, or the time to accept runs out, the licence goes back to the seller.
After a transfer
Section titled “After a transfer”The 90-day clock starts again for the new owner, so they can’t pass it on straight away. A transferred licence doesn’t renew by itself. To keep it going, the new owner subscribes on the dashboard, and the subscription attaches to the same licence. Otherwise it runs out on its expiry date and the 7-day rule applies.
