How to configure and setup the Keepa Deals Monitor

The Keepa API runs periodically every four minutes and fetches the latest deals from the Keepa Deals API - https://keepa.com/#!deals

Configuring Keepa Monitor

Under the Settings -> Keepa Monitor tab you can configure the Keepa Monitor to your liking:

Include Categories

Use this section to select which Amazon categories you want to monitor. If no categories are selected, all available categories will be monitored

Exclude Categories

Use this section to select which Amazon categories will be excluded from the feed. This is useful if you want to include all categories and remove specific categories

Filtering Options

Filter
Meaning

Lowest Ever

If selected, only include items where the current price is at its lowest ever

Lowest New Offer

If selected, only include items where the current price is the lowest of all new offers (Amazon, Marketplace New)

Out Of Stock

If selected, only include items that are out of stock

Must Have Reviews

If selected, only include items that have reviews

Is Prime Exclusive

If selected, only include items that are exclusive to prime

Filter Adult Items

If selected, remove items that are considered erotic/adult items

One Variation Per Product

If selected, include one random variation of a product that has multiple variations

Minimum Product Star Rating

Filter by the minimum star rating of a product

Date Range

The "limit drop interval", i.e. filter on how when the drop was triggered on Keepa. Recommended setting is 24 hours.

Deal Type

Filter on the seller/deal type. Recommended is Amazon

Range Options

Current Price Range

The minimum and maximum current price range of the item, in pennies

Drop Percentage Range

Only include items that have dropped more than the minimum and less than the maximum. i.e. to filter on items that have dropped more than 40%, put 40 in the min box, and 100 in the max box

Price Drop Range

The same as the drop percentage range, but in penny currency units. i.e. to filter on items that have dropped by more than Β£8.00, put 800 in the min box

BSR Range

Filter on items that are between a certain BSR range. i.e. to filter on items that have a BSR less than 100,000 put 0 in the min box, and 100,000 in the max box

After you have built your query, click 'Save' to save the settings.

Importing Queries from Keepa

If you prefer to use Keepa to build a filter, you can import them directly from Keepa.

  1. Visit the Keepa deals page - https://keepa.com/#!deals

  2. Build your filter using the options on the left:

  3. Click 'Show API Query' and copy all of the text starting with the first curly brace{ and the last curly brace }as show below

  4. Click 'Import Query From Clipboard'. This will now automatically put the correct values in the Keepa Monitor Settings fields

  5. Click 'Save'

Enabling the Keepa Monitor

To enable the Keepa Monitor, ensure that 'Enabled' is selected under Settings -> General Settings -> Enable Keepa Monitor

The monitor will now run automatically every 4 minutes.

The Keepa Feed

On the 'Home' page of the bot, you will see the Keepa Deals Feed, it looks like the screenshot below. Here you will see customised results based on the filtering and range settings you have configured. You can start tasks by clicking the 'Create Tasks' button next to an item you want to run in the bot.

When creating profiles for Amazon, check 'Keepa Enabled' is selected. This will automatically select profiles when creating quick tasks from the Keepa Feed.
