📡Updating Versions

From time to time, there may be updates to the bot. This is usually due to retailers making changes to their websites or general improvements to our software. This articles explains how to update the bot to the latest version.

Automatic updates

Updates for the bot are automatic, simply close the bot and re-open the bot for any pending updates.

All new versions and changes will be announced in our Discord group's #📃│updates channel.

There will also be a popup window in the bot the next time you restart it, which will detail that there's an update available and the changes that have been made.

Simply click the 'Download' button to proceed with the update or click 'Maybe Later' to ignore it for now.

Backing up your data

You don't need to backup your data if you're doing an automatic update. However, If you ever need to do a manual update or if you're moving to a different computer, then you will need to backup your data.

To backup your data, make a copy of the following files which can be found in the bot folder and in the 'Data' folder.

Once you've installed a new version of the bot manually, then paste the files back into the new 'Data' folder.

  • Settings.json

  • Proxies.json

  • Profiles.json

  • ProfileGroups.json

  • Products.json

  • PaymentCards.json

Manually update

If for any reason you need to manually update:

  1. Click the 'Download' button.

  2. A Zip file will then download with the Yoghurt Bot software to your 'Downloads' folder on your computer.

  1. Create a folder on your Desktop called 'Yoghurt Bot' (if you don't have one already).

  2. Copy the .zip file from your Downloads and paste it into the 'Yoghurt Bot' folder.

  3. Right click the .zip file and click 'Extract Here'.

After the files have extracted, you should double click the yoghurtbot.io.exe file to launch the bot.

On the login screen, enter your email address and password to login to the bot.

Open the yoghurtbot.io.exe file.
Login to the bot with your email address and password.
